San Francisco, GG Bridge and Tiburon

Tuesday  morning we met Dena and Jordan at their hotel. I had told Dena to bring whatever she needed. I  didn’t realize they made suitcases that big. We had a few moments in the parking lot getting everything in our car.

We went on to San Francisco, went for a ride up and down Lombard street (the twisty one). The car grunted climbing the hill, what with the full load of people – and suitcases. Then over to the Golden Gate, where we got out and walked out to the first tower.

We then went to Tiburon, thinking we’d take the ferry over to SF but by the time we got there and lunch was over, etc. we’d have only had a couple hours in SF before the last ferry back to Tiburon so we hung out at the breakwater in Tiburon. Who knew – there were lots of little crabs living in the rocks which provided an afternoon’s fun.

Then back to our house. After dinner we walked down to see the chickens at the park and wound up spending quite a while picking wild blackberries and stuffing them in our faces. Tasty! We’re planning to go back.
